Who We Are
Lower Richland is a perfect example of a community school. Many of their students are 4th or 5th generations of previous graduates. The community is a very close knit family that works to support its students.
The faith base and business community work very collaboratively with the schools to provide additional support to the child’s learning experience. The foundation works with and through many churches to help enhance those experiences for our kids.
The Lower Richland Community Cares Project, unites the Alumni Foundation, Richland County Sheriff, and local churches to combat crime in Eastover, Gadsden, Hopkins, and East Columbia.
Prioritizing safety, the initiative tackles issues like murder, assault, robbery, and drug-related activities, reflecting a vital commitment to community well-being.
At Lower Richland High School, we’re proud to rank among the top 2 schools in scholarship recipients in our district.
Our students explore fascinating areas of study globally, and their impressive achievements catch the eye of major colleges and universities.
Thanks to the Alumni Foundation’s support, we can raise scholarship funds, ensuring that every student, whether heading to traditional universities or local technical schools, has the financial backing to pursue their higher education goals.
